Elena was a pale gold gryfess with summer-blue eyes. She shares this trait with her sister Esla, and passed it down to Kjorn.

Elena's personality was never shown, but she was possibly a kind gryfess, as her bravery to try and fish to feed her son was noble. She could have possibly been a very kind queen.
