Halvden was once Sverin's wingbrother, and a warrior of the King's Guard. He now serves as a sentinel of the Dawn Spire. He's the mate of Kenna, and father of Halla.

Description[]
Halvden has bright emerald feathers[1], with a golden lion rump and golden eyes. After the battle with the wyrms, he lost his front right foretalon.
Personality[]
Halvden is introduced as a power-hungry an arrogant griffin. When his father is killed by wolves, Halvden becomes even more ruthless, going so far as to make attempts on Shard’s life as well as Caj’s. However, Halvden reforms himself and becomes more humble after being defeated and captured by Caj.
