Siva is the mate to Balrenik[1] and mother of Ren.[2]

Siva is a russet Gryfess with an athletic build.
Personality[]
Siva is a caring yet strict mother who has a tendency to overlook her daughters talents and interests do to them being unorthodox for a member of the line 2nd oldest huntresses in the Dawn Spire.
Ren's unorthodox interests prompt Siva to kick the former out of their den as punishment for letting a newly discovered rock get in the way of her initiation hunt.
Siva is shown to be somewhat superstitious as she accepted Ren’s idea that the starfall was an omen fortelling a successful hunt.

Rise of the Dragon Star[]
When meteorites shower the Winderost, Siva reminds Ren to remain in the den after the latter becomes curious about the falling rocks. Ren reassures her mother, that she just wants to look outside and has no intention of disobeying Siva nor Balrenik. After witnessing the starfall, Ren suggests that it might be a good omen not because she believes in omen’s but in order to calm her mother down as Siva is more superstitious than her daughter. Before Ren returns to bed, Siva informs her daughter of a special opportunity Kjorn and Rashard are rumored to grant exceptional young gryphons during this years Greatmeet. However, Siva will only allow Ren to attend Greatmeet if she passes her initiation hunt.
Over the next few days, Siva prepares Ren for her upcoming hunt. On the day of the hunt, Magra tells Ren how proud Siva will be to have the former join the ranks of initiated huntresses.
Siva confronts her daughter at their den after the latter fails her initiation hunt. When Ren tells her that her recently discovered geode was the reason for her failure, Siva overreacts thinking that Ren's obsession with rocks and knowledge is still ridiculous. After they get into a short argument, Siva, furious at her Daughter's defiance kicks her out of their family den as punishment the same time Balrenik arrives at the entrance.
When Ren is having a discussion with her wingsister, Halla, Ren explains why she doesn't think she should attend Greatmeet with Halla when she mentions the rock that ruined her initiation. Halla reminds Ren that Siva isn't in charge on deciding who should or shouldn't attend, King Kjorn and Queen Thyra are. After the King and Queen, grant Ren permission to attend Greatmeet, Ren returns to her parent's den to retrive her rock, but assings Halla to distract Siva by arranging a meeting with Kenna.
While Siva is distracted with her conversation with Kenna, Ren sneaks back in their family den and retrieves her rock. While flying towards the destination Greetmeet will be held, Ren thinks about her mother.

While Ren is a talented Aseir, she is ironically a disappointment to her mother who expects her to carry on the family legacy.
Balrenik[]
Despite passing his rockhounding and lust for knowledge on to Ren, much to Siva's dismay, the latter fell in love with Balrenik and bore him Ren.
Magra[]
Little is known about Siva's relationship with Magra. However Ren mentally notes that they are good friends.
